Though in his Facebook stats he lists Detroit as his hometown, his bio tells us that his roots are in music rather than a specific place. Nevertheless it seems the city rich is musical history has birthed another success. Raised by parents who were both successful in the gospel music world Jamison has traveled the world and learned a lot about his craft. Like so many artists there have been several high and low points in his journey, but also like any of the greats Jamison has stayed persistent and determined.
