MusicADDIKTS is expanding our writing team and looking for a few great writers to join us. If you’ve always dreamed of writing for one of the most entertaining music websites on the face of the net, then now is your chance to join our dynamic group of music lovers. A MusicADDIKTS Contributing Writer should have:
* Some previous knowledge of MA, our style of writing and the artists who we cover. If you have never read MA before, then google us.
* A conversational, entertaining and/or witty writing style. Please bring your own voice, opinions and original ideas to the table.
* The ability to update multiple times per day/week during daytime hours, Monday through Friday.
* A familiarity with multiple blogging platforms and social networking sites.
* Experience with resources to find stories and music.
* Must own a camera and/ or video camera
* The ability to self-edit (spelling and grammar), fact-check and cite your sources independently.
* An awareness of music from different eras and genres, particularly if you’re able to recall historical milestones in music, production credits, fun facts and the like.
* A sense of humor.
If you’re serious about being a part of our team, please email your letter of interest including a link to your blog, the names of your favorite artists (mainstream, independent and underground). Please attach no less than three (3) publishable entries demonstrating the style, focus and formatting your in order to be considered.
**In the event that you’re not a writer, but are a photographer, DJ or someone else who would still like to contribute to MA in some way, then please contact us as well with your ideas and how you’re interested in lending your talents to the site.
