So, as self-proclaimed ‘ADDIKTS’, we thought it was time to give some tips to our readers on how you know you’re a music ADDIKT. We’ve been in this music ADDIKTION state for quite some time.
Now, there are varying levels of addiktion. However, if you recognize yourself in any of these points, yup…you’re an ADDIKT:
You are a music ADDIKT if:
1. You know all the words to an album you’ve purchased 48 hours prior.
2.You check twitter and FB to keep up with artists’ tour dates, even though you’ve seen said artist 394,889,077 times.
3. You have arrived at your destination in the car (and perhaps late), but stayed and listened until ‘your song’ went off.
4. You STILL own records and cassette tapes…AND you still play them.
5. You find pre-sale codes online to live concerts.
6. Getting new music gives you an unexplainable rush.
7. You get a sense of euphoria from watching old music videos on YouTube.
8. You relate everything in your life to a song.. *ahem, GUILTY*
9. Most people have no idea who the artists are you listen to on a regular basis.
10.You can’t imagine your life without it.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is just the beginning. If you have your own ‘addiktion indicators’, please email them to us at info@musicaddikts.com and we’ll share in the next list.
