This past weekend was action packed in ATL.  The Lauryn Hill concert Friday, Eric Roberson & Algebra on Saturday and the taping of the video for Anthony David’s “4Ever More” on Sunday.  This was Anthony David’s first official video and was recorded at a church in the city and the cast was a who’s who of the soul music world.  The video, soon to be released, will feature cameo’s from Carmen Rodgers, Eric Roberson, Heston, DJ Salah and Jodine of Jodine’s Corner.  Stayed tuned for the premier of the video.  To see more photos visit Anothy David’s Facebook page.

Gott a love when you get new music in your inbox.  Especially when the names Zo, Eric Roberson, Darien Brockington & Big Pooh are in the subject line and all on the same song.  I didn’t even have to listen to know it was gonna be hot.  But of course I found the play button and am currently #nowplaying “This Could Be The Night”.  Enjoy!!

Yahzarah has been busy touring with the Grammy Nominated Foreign Exchange since the release of their sophomore album “Leave It All Behind” over a year ago. Nonetheless Ms. Purple St. James has still found time to work on her own solo project. Her upcoming album “The Ballad of Purple St. James” is scheduled to be released on May 14th. “Why Dontcha Call Me No More”, a funky upbeat track, is the first single off her upcoming album. I can’t wait to hear her perform this one live. I had the pleasure of seeing her in Atlanta a few months ago and trust me you don’t want to miss her if she comes to your city.
